Eyelash stuck and not coming out

Hello,

My eye started feeling irritated and I checked in a mirror and I believe there is a lash in the right corner of my right eye. However, it's squeezed in the middle where it's visible but I can't take it out. I've tried flushing with saline, using a Q-tip doused in saline, and other "tricks" such as lifting your upper eyelid over your lower eyelid and letting go. It's still stuck in there and it's been half a day, and im worried that it might get worse, as the area is already quite red and slightly painful. Are there any way I should try to get it out (such as sleeping it off and hoping eye crust forms to remove it) or should I consult a doctor? Thanks.

Update - I slept it off, and eye crust did form in the corner of my eye where the lash was. When I woke up, I don't think I feel it but the area is red and a bit painful when I blink. Should I see a doctor about this?

you can use warm compresses, artificial tears for the scratchy feeling. If not better see an ophthalmologist  you could be developing a stye

I'm thinking of doing that

I personally would consult a doctor, given that you’ve already tried various other means without success to remove the foreign body from your eye.
