Excessive scelera show

Hello,
I am interested in a girl for the purpose of marriage. But she has what I believe is called excessive scelera show. Her eyes are very wide open and it's scary. I looked at her old photos from 4 years ago and her eyes were normal and she was much chubbier. I don't think her eyes are bulging forward (perhaps because I didn't have a chance to look at them from the right angle) but they are very wide open. My concern is thyroid problems. My uncle's wife had thyroid problems and I have witnessed the toll it takes in the husband. As far as I understand it, there is no magic pill that fixes thyroid problems. it's a lifelong condition. My friend told me "you are too picky, you will never find a girl if you keep looking for flaws in them, maybe she dieted and that explains the weight loss and maybe she did botox around her eyes and that explains the eyes wide open"
I don't want to ask her "do you have thyroid problems" because if she does, that would hurt her
based on the symptoms I am describing, could it be anything other than thyroid?

Especially in a young female she needs to see an ENDOCRINOLOGIST for a thyroid work up.  Hyperthyroidism (Grave's Disease" can be very difficult to diagnose, many primary care doctors just use one or two tests and let it ride. Likely she would also need an orbital CT scan to make sure nothing behind the eyes pushing them forward. IF all is negative she can see an oculoplastic surgery and have an out patient procedure to drop the lids down (levator recessiong)

Thank you very much, doc. I can't ask her to see an endocrinologist, I cant tell her "if you don't see a doctor and bring your lab results I won't marry you" not because I am shy about it, but because if indeed she does have thyroid problems that would really hurt her (it's like someone attacking me about an insecurity that I have). All I can do is guess what's wrong with her and proceed based on that. if she has thyroid problems I don't want her because this is a life long, annoying problem that won't go away and I can't deal with it. I also just remembered another symptom. in her pictures 4 years ago she had long and plenty of eyelashes, now her eyelashes are looking short, and few and almost non-existent.
based on these, what percent chance is it thyroid, and what percent chance it's something else?
That is not something that can be given odds %
