Hi Michelle,

I didn't realize when I responded to your post on the lupus forum that I have responded on this forum as well.

want2 is correct, your symptoms do sound like MS, but I'm learning that they also sound like chronic fatigue.

Check this article out:

Another option to look at is lymes disease.

The sympthoms you discribe are common to the MS disease.  Problem is the sympthoms are also common in other conditions.  It is my understand to prove MS the doctors need to see plaque (lesions) on the brain with and MRI and find foreign protiens in the blood from a spinal tap.  My last trip to the emergency room a doctor suggested I showed signs of MS in my upper body through some reflex test they did.  They could find nothing on the MRI which should have shown some lesions on my brain.  My sympthoms were double vision, dizziness, ears ringing, pins and needles running up my arm, dead feeling in my legs, pains in different parts of my body, high blood pressure, chronic fatique, hands shaking, could not sleep good and nausea.  This was the first time I had ever heard of this disease.  Since I didn't have MS according to the doctors I search for other things which would cause my condition.  I found mercury poisoning exhibits similiar conditions.  I my case I had a number of mercury fillings and root canals which I think were responsible for my condition.  Hal Huggins book "Solving The MS Mystery" explains why we are seeing an increase in these autoimmune diseases.  If you feel this could be a possibility you could get a book on Natural Healing which will tell you what supplements you could take to get the mercury out of your body.
