How to start eating healthy and losing weight today?

I am 182 cm tall, 20 years old, female. My current weight is around 85 kg. I was always skinny , tall girl, but after I had health problems and had to take hormones and stopped doing sport because I was in bed most of the time. I want to lose weight but in a healthy way. This is more of a life change for me. I do not look fat but my breasts which were always big are now huge and same goes for my butt. I have hourglass shape and while my partner considers it sexy, I just do not want that. I was thinking of starting a diet, but last time I tried, I just lost muscle and bit of fat because I was not able to move too much. Now I am ready for a real thing, but what is the best way? I do not want quick solution , I want effective one which will last. I gave my self 3 months to lose around 10 kg and generally feel better and start this change  but I would like to hear some advice and your own experiences .
This is all new for me, and I just never had problems like these, I was trying to lose weight for about a month now and it goes up and down.
Please answer.
Thanks.
P.S. This is how I look now.

Hi, I'm 179cm tall, and 85kg heavy. I started this week my weigh losing thing.  For now it is working, I losed 1kg in 7 days. And the thing is to eat 500 kcal less then your usuall daily amount of calories. And to exercise. As for me, I'm walking hour and a half every morning, That is about 10 km, and I lose about 600kcal which is enough to eat normally. Also taking smaller portions of food is helpful.

What's your goal weight?  Depending on your frame size, you're not that much over weight.

What type of hormones did you have to take? And are you still taking them?  I'm not trying to be nosy; but weight loss (or gain) can hinge on certain illnesses and/or hormones.  If you don't have enough of certain ones or too much of others, you'll  have a really hard time losing.

It's best to start slow and make small changes as you go along.  For instance, you could start by drinking water instead of soda.  Try eliminating things made with white flour, such as bread, pasta, etc and switch to whole grains.

Get plenty of protein in the form of meats, fish, chicken, dairy, eggs, etc.

Center each meal around veggies; fill 1/2 your plate with veggies (preferably fresh or frozen, since canned usually have too much salt), 1/4 of your plate with a protein and 1/4 with a whole grain.

Limit fruit to 1-2 servings/day since it has a lot of sugar, which, if not used right away will be stored as fat.

Try to get at least 30 min exercise a day; it need not be vigorous.  You could try a brisk walk, yoga or any other activity that you enjoy.
