Undiagnosed Symptoms / Itching,Numbness,Burning,Tingling Feeling

Hi;  I’ve been struggling with the symptoms listed below for the past two years and it is be getting worse. I’ve been back and forth to different specialist to no avail.
In terms of my medical history, I was diagnosed with H-Pylori and that was eradicated about two years ago. I also had mild gastritis and I took Prilosec to cope with that.

SYMPTOMS
• Burning feeling and tingling feeling in the area of my Abs, stomach and lower back, concentrating on the left side
• Arms & hands and legs & feet (Burning feeling, numbness, and feeling of pins & needles
• Itching over different areas of my body, including my throat, mouth & face
• Veins in my arms sometimes hurt, and they are sometimes more pronounced and visibly blue
• Intolerance to the cold; especially my hands and feet
• Painful joints particularly my wrist and ankles and knees
• Muscle stiffness in my neck and back
• Experience sharp pain particularly in my hands and Legs to the point where it’s difficult to walk

I am experiencing intermittent pain and discomfort in different areas of my body, but it is concentrated on the left side. I notice that the cold & numbness in my legs & feet usually initiates when I am sitting at my desk at work. This is alleviated when I elevate my feet and massage them. At night when I am lying down my arms get numb as if there is no blood flowing properly.

All of the itching & burning started from my legs & arms, however it has moved up to my face and head. Could there be a problem with my kidney or Urinary system as I feel relief of some of the burning especially in my back after I urinate and or stool.

I have seen a Neurologist, Allergist, Rheumatologist and a Gastroenterologist, and I had numerous blood work, however all results came back negative. I did a CT of the ABS/Pelvis area, MRI of the Brain & spine and an EEG yielding the same negative results. I am now really frustrated that I am not able to find any diagnosis of my symptoms. Could someone please offer some advice?

I've had this problem recently and did a search and found an article about B1-thiamine deficiency and these symptoms...  Once I started supplementing with my
B complex that contained B1 things got much better...  The article stated that you should use a B complex and that B1 should be about 500 mgs initially....

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Generalized feeling of a burning sensation can be due to dry skin, hyperthyroid states, liver or gall bladder dysfunction, peripheral neuropathies or decreased sweating as in Sjogren’s syndrome.
The sensations of pins and tingling are generally due to peripheral neuropathies. Hence peripheral vascular pathologies have to be ruled out either by angiograms or by dopplar studies. Hypoparathyroidism too should be looked into apart from hypothyroidism and diabetes.
Vitamin D and B12 deficiency too should be investigated.
This would need a comprehensive investigation. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
