Urgent refferal to Uro. Advice needed.

Hi guys,

I'm a 19 year old male from England.

I found a lump on my left testicle which I had scanned. The ultrasound scan didn't detect the lump, but it found a small hydrocele but part of my testicle on the scan wasn't clear.

My doctor said I'd need a 14 day refferal on the ultrasound sto rule out anything bad such as cancer etc.

I'm absolutley terrified about this as I suffer from severe health anxiety.

My question is, what could cause part of the testicle on an ultrasound scan to be unclear?

Hey, same problem
My left testicle has a very small spot on it and the spot hurts a bit.  I can masturbate and have sex as much as I want, with no pain but I'm still worried about this little bump/spot.  It sort of hurts when I touch it and I'm getting worried.

Tomm, seeing as we're both the same age,  I don't think it would be cancer, but I do beleive its something else.  I have no swelling, bleeding or anything else occuring,  just a pain when I squeeze my left nut.  Anyone have any advice?

Sorry but I forgot to add that on my left testicle, I can feel a rigid vein that runs up the actual testicle.

I just hope it's going to be something harmless.
