Watch for fevers too...you could have easily had bronchitis which can cause purulent sputum (lime colored goo) as well...As caregiver said, Zithromax or the Z pack, is usually a good med for bacterial infections. If you find that your symptoms are getting worse despite therapy (such as increased sputum production, recurrent fevers, difficulty breathing, pain etc.), then I suggest you go back to the doctor for re examination, further testing if necessary, switching or addition of meds etc...
Remember, I am not a doctor, just a former RN...nothing beats your own physician when it comes to advice.
I hope everything turns out okay,

It seems that you started with a viral infection. Bacterial infections often piggyback on viral infections.
Azithromycin 250 is appropriate, although it should have been for seven to ten days. You should take this medication with grapefruit juice, which will improve it's effectiveness.
Absolutely positively no alcohol.
It is pointless to look at "pictures' of bacteria. You have bacterial pneumonia.
Get 45 minutes of sunlight every day.
A "vaccine" is only good against one common strain of bacteria.
Surprise!
You can develop pneumonia from 4,567,876 strains of bacteria, more or less.
Probably it is a re-occurrance of your previous infection, which only went into remission. You have a compromised immune system and it is likely an encapsulated infection.
At the end of the course of antibiotics there should be absolutely positively no green or yellow material coming from your lungs.
If there is you need to immediately go on another antibiotic.
People actually die from these infections, you know.
