previous miscarrage

I need help..  I found out i was Pregnant with our second abby in the begining of February.  Went for my 9 week check up late march  and they only measured me at 7 weeks and found no heart beat.  April 2nd wen to the doc and they implanted misoprol (alternate to D&C)  had HEAVY bleeding and went back 2 days later for them to give me and U/S and let me know that the tissue had passed.  push forward to May 111..  started light bleeding (not normal period) and only for 1 day..  took a pregnancy test out of curiosity on May 15th and it was positive..  Can i possible sitll have the HCG hormone sitll in my system.. I was under the impression that f the fetal tissue was gone that th eHcg levels would drop rapidly..  or can i actually be pregnant?/  i have a light bleeding almost every other day but it seems to be only after my husband and i have sex.. someone HELP!!!  i really want to be pregnant!!

Your definantly pregnant again! I had mc in dec and hcg disapeared within 5 days, only just preg again now. Are my hcg levels good for 6 weeks at 1520 and now two days later at 1790?

Hi!
You almost certainly have a new pregnancy!  HCG would not be very likely to persist this long except in the extremely rare case of gestational trophoblastic disease.
If you were my patient, I would ask you to come in for a quantitative beta hcg (pregnancy hormone level).  I would then repeat the test in 48 hours to determine whether the level was increasing appropriately for a new pregnancy.
