Tongue Tie

So my first baby had a tongue tie and I was unsuccessful at breastfeeding I had to pump the entire time. I did get it snipped but he was to use to bottles I just couldn't stand the pain, the doctor who snipped it though told me it was genetic so I'm just wondering has anyone had a baby with tongue tie and their next  babies were also?? This is my 2nd boy I've done research and only found its more common in boys and it is genetic but couldn't find if all your babies would have it or if it's just luck of the draw. Hoping someone has had experienced this I'm due in April and really dreading the thought of it happening again. Anyone know?

Thankyou! :) makes me feel much better about it even if he is tongue tied no harm in pumping it's just all the sterilizing I'd much rather just chuck him on my boon and be done with it lol

My third child was. Boy also, breastfed for 18 months. I didn't have him clipped til he was four. He had speech therapy before and after four about a year but he was a quiet baby and still is but he has perfect speech. Im on number five and no others were tongue tied.
