Mood swings

Okay I'm almost to the end of my pregnancy.. 34 weeks and 5 days.. Due may 29th but I'm being induced at 38 wks... anyway so far I've been a really nice pregnant lady up until last week. I feel bipolar or something. I'm mostly in a good mood but I keep feeling extreme sadness and anger depending on the situation. Is it because the end is so close, hormones, or anxiety or something? Is this normal? I feel horrible especially when I'm upset or sad bc I feel I'm stressing or hurting my baby..I really need help dealing with this issue.. "•_•"

Thanks everybody for a response! I'm so glad I'm not the only person going through this.. This is my first child, if I hadn't said that already.. And I'm also 400 miles away from my family with my husband. He works almost everyday so I'm home all day by myself most of the time. Lately I've just felt like he doesn't care about me or something and his friend annoys me so I've been acting crazy ha.. I've talked to him about it and things are better now but I'm afraid I'm going to flip out again about something simple! I only have 3 weeks left and I hope this doesnt last the while month robin.. That would be tragic lol.. I do have extra stress I got gestational diabetes a few weeks ago.. Can you believe it waited til the very end to show up!?! I just want my son to be okay and to avoid a cesarean! On top of that, I need a new car which hopefully we'll be able to get in the next few weeks

We are due on the same day! I wish I was being induced at 38 weeks! N e ways I feel the same way.. My husband says I was much nicer with my other two pregnancies but with this one. I can literally feel my blood boil O_O my dr basically told me to suck it up cus the only thing I can do is take meds which being this far she nor I want to do.. Adding to this she suggested yoga, meditating and some other crap that I couldn't hear over the sound of my blood boiling haha I have two kids and a husband who works way to many hours with no family or friends near me! I think I get so angry or upset cus im always stressed with everything I have going on! Do u have extra stress ? Perhaps that could have something to do with it.?

You're not alone. I have been quick to anger this pregnancy too. Oddly, I don't really remember it from last time but I had an easier pregnancy last time (was first time mom, great supervisor, etc).

I'm at 35 weeks 4 days and have just started having the same issue.  I was very steady and happy through almost my entire pregnancy and then these past couple of days I've been incredibly moody, irritable, and sad. Seems hormonal because it happened so suddenly, but I wish I knew more about what hormonal shift is happening and why.  Will we feel this way for the last month? Will we start feeling better closer to our due dates? I found a lot of anecdotal info with a google search, but not much in the way of medical justification.

So, I want you to know you're not alone, and that I dont think you should worry about your baby - it sounds like you've been happy and steady for most of your baby's development and I think that is the most important thing. :)
