Infant Formula

I am having my first child and I'm planning to breastfeed. However, I have been looking at different formulas just in case things don't go as planned. I just want to have the best option(s) of formula(s) that's similar or close to breastfeeding. Any suggestions?

I would love to know...
What formulas have you all decided on & why?
Also, what formulas have you switched from in the past & why?

I had the worst luck breastfeeding. I was scarfing down oatmeal, mother's milk tea, and taking fenugreek. Thankfully, I made it at to 3 months (with supplementing, due to low supply.) Our pediatrician also started out my daughter on Gerber right from the beginning of our problems. Specifically, we used Gerber Good Start.

We uswd parent's choice as well. It was cheaper and workwd well  when I couldn't pump enough and then when we fully switch to formula when she was 8 months.

The hospital started my son on similac for gas and fussing and that just made him gassy. Knowing how expensive formula can be we started with the cheapest it was a Wal-Mart brand called parents choice gentle and that actually worked really well for us.

In the beginning we tried Similac, but caused serious constipation. Then Enfamil caused serious gas pains. FINALLY , I asked our pedi and they highly recommended Gerber. It's amazing! My daughter is a different baby now:)
