Hi there! I was older when I had my kids also and didn't do the diagnoses tests either. I think the tests certainly can have false positives. However, when reading about Maternity 21, the false positives are infrequent. Doesn't mean that your test is accurate but that it likely is based on statistics. What does your doctor say? I was fine with having my child and raising him or her no matter if there was such a situation. Are you in this same boat? I think being prepared is key though. Once you know from that blood test, I'd prepare. How are you feeling about this?
