Left ovary cyst, ride side pain - post miscarriage

Here is my story, it's a bit long, but i need to vent and hoping someone can give me some advice or comfort.  Found out i was pregnant back at the end of April, miscarried at almost 7 weeks.  The doctor said to let it naturally run its course.  At first it seemed like a 'normal' miscarriage, however the spotting last weeks, then the bleeding and heavy cramps started up again.  Went for Ultra sounds, he found a large cyst (which was not their 3 weeks prior) on my left ovary - he thought i was troublesome.  SO he told a blood test to make sure my HCG levels went down - wanted to rule out gestational trophoblastic disease (cells turned diseased or cancerous after miscarriage).  The HCG levels came down and he said it was a good sign - just to come back after my first period to follow up on cyst. Well now i have this horrible pain on my right side (it actually started out a few weeks ago) it was very subtle at first. Now it's getting worse, starts at right ovary area and then radiates up ward to ride side above pelvic area.  Toggles btwn very minor and very uncomfortable. I am so miserable - and worried it's something serious.  Wondering if i should called Dr. again or just wait until after my period (which still has not come - its been almost 6 weeks since MC). Anyone else have a similar type of pain? Or cysts after surgery?  Ugh - this sadness and worry just won't end.

thanks you are very sweet.  My MD things it may be kidneys - waiting for results of a renal sonogram.  My GYN thought everything else looked ok and the cyst was under control.  So stressful.  Just want to be healthy.  Thanks for your kind words :))

Welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage and now dealing with this pain. Ovarian cysts can cause a bit of pain and leaking or rupturing can worsen the pain. If it is too debilitating, give your doctor a call...no need to suffer like that.

Keep us posted.
