Had my Surgery Oct. 19 I have a rash all over my incision area

HI all, My Surgery was Oct 19, I had a hard time in the hospital and was there 6 days. by the time I left there removed the stables and everything looked really good . did not hurt there at all. Now I have a rash all over it under my belly. I thought it was a yeast infection so I have been using anti fugal cream on it well it is not working. so dos anyone have in Ideas as to what this rash would be?  The soonest my Dr. could see me is Dec 15th. I can not wait that long. Someone told me it could be strep and now iam freaking out!!!  can;t even sleep.  also i have been to tired just can not get up snf get anything done. I have so many things going on I just think it is my thyoid or my fibro or  maybe Lupus. But this is different then normal. I just can not walk well or move around well to do thing.still fell bloated and swollen. how long does it take to go away and fell better?

Thanks for your time and understanding, any help will help.

Oh..you are not complaining.  I am so sorry you have had so many issues.  It stinks!  :( ER is the last place you want to go when you feel terrible...the wait seems endless.  Try calling again in the morning and insisting on talking to the doctor.   It is best to be on the safe side.  Hopefully, it is some type of allergic reaction and not infection.  Please let us know how it goes tomorrow!  Feel better!

I am truly mad that your doctor had the nerve to not work you in until the 15th!  It could just be a reaction to surgical tape or latex, but as you mentioned it could also be an infection and it should not wait!  As much of a pain as it is....you should go to urgent care or the ER and have it checked.  You may want to try calling your doctor's office again and being very insistent that it can't wait and you don't feel up to waiting in the ER.   Don't worry about being wrong if it is something mild.  It is better to have it checked.  In fact, you may want to insist the doctor call you directly.  You should ask to see the doctor's back up doctor if he is on vacation.  Please don't wait.  I had a weird rash after my first surgery and it was staph infection.  It itched and was warm to the touch.  I ended up having to have my incision re-opened and a drain put in which drained pus for weeks.  It can be life threatening.  I am so glad your surgery is behind you all looked well.  I wish you continued healing and a very speedy recovery!

Take care,

Shelly

well I have a abdominal surgery a few times and nevr got a rash but it's sounds like somthing you should not wait to get looked at. Can you go to a walk in clinic? Then they can ease your mind if it's somthing that can wait or somthing you need to take care of right away. The 15th seems far away...
