yes your advice was well appreciated my neurologist keps pushing pill after pill on me.I am a Nurse for 25yrs i ,i dont mean to be disrespectfull.but im getting no where.any advice? different doctor? neuro in vanderbilt is busy teaching and has no time for me.Im at my wits end.Thank you!
Thank you very much for your questions; although it is quite difficult for me to give you a precise opinion here without having seen you in clinic, but I would like to provide you some useful information.
Venous angiomas are usually variants in the brain’s normal venous system. Therefore, venous angiomas are very often benign, but few of the patients have associated with other brain malformations that carry symptoms of headache & seizures. In white matter disease, there could be metabolism errors, exogenous toxins released by virus, autoimmune disease, leukodystrophy, demyelination, and radiation effects. Spasticity, muscle weakness, paralysis, hyper-reflexia and movement disorder may be the clinical features associated with white matter disease and need to be evaluated thoroughly. However, it is sad to say that there is no permanent cure but conservative treatment & physiotherapy exercises that would help you to regain your normal function and stopping the further progression of the disease.
