Thank you so much for your reply.
This MRI is from quite awhile ago and I recieved a copy of this report along with other medical records to take with me to an endocrinologist.I had actually forgot about this and I do have severe migraines that started a few yrs after this MRI.
This MRI was just after a head injury in which i slipped and hit my head so hard it knocked me out cold :/ So they were just checking to make sure everything was ok.
Full report:
The third, fourth, and lateral ventricles are normal size, shape, and position. There is no indication of midline shift, mass effect, hemorrage or extraaxial fluid collections. The cranial cervical junction is normal. Pituitary gland has normal appearance. Natural flow voids are present within the intracerebral vasculature. The gray-white matter differentiation is preserved with abnormal sign within the brain parenchyma.
Following intravenous administration of gadolinium contrast, there is normal enhancement of the intracerebral vasculature with no abnormal enhancement.
IMPRESSION:
1. Negative MRI of the brain with and without gadolinium contrast.
Hi!
I am sorry but nothing can be said based on this single line. An abnormal sign could be anything—a tumor, an ischemic area, a malformation of blood vessel etc.
Take care!
