feeling dizzy and freezing during migraine attack

I've been struggling with migraine during pregnancy in 2015.  Recently, I've experience some GI problems that triggered the migraine to return.  In the past, when I got an attack, I took a Maxalt immediately and laid down in a quiet dark room putting an ice pack or cold towels on my forehead and neck, and wait... It usually subsided after treatment and I'd fall asleep.  However, this time around - I'm feeling extreme dizziness (vertigo type like everything is spinning and I cannot stand still) and freezing cold (so cold that I don't feel like putting any ice pack on my head at all)... And the timing of the attack also changed to the middle of the night when I'd be awaken by this awful throbbing pain.  Is this change of characteristics normal?  Is this still migraine, or something I should talk to my neuro about?
