Long story short, I'm very scared I caught an STD, mainly herpes, maybe HIV. Please read my story, sorry in advance if it's long. (I am female)
So about 2 months ago, I had a sexual encounter. It included unprotected oral and unprotected sex, although it wasn't actually penetrative, it was just skin to skin contact.
I've had no obvious herpes symptoms, which includes the blisters and sores.
Instead what I did get were a few other symptoms.
About 3-4 weeks after encounter, I had a sore anus. This lasted about 2-3 days, and it was quite red around the anus. This is my biggest fear. I've read that a sore anus can be a symptom of herpes.
Then about 4-5 weeks after encounter, there was one day where during the day I received spontaneous "pain" in my vaginal area. It didn't quite hurt, it was more just noticable. It would come in spurts and go away. I'm fearing this is the "shooting pain" that is linked to herpes, as I've read online. Still, there were never any visible sores or blisters, I was checking constantly (still am).
Currently, I am experience diarrhea (gross, I know) for the past 4-5 days. I'm worried this is linked to the possible herpes. This is happening about 2 months post possible exposure.
The thing is, the guy I was with went to go get checked after our encounter. He's been with multiple girls before me, and for a long time. I on the other hand, have not been with many guys and I was always careful. His test results came back negative for everything, his doctor told him that I'm probably freaking out, and it could all be due to stress. My biggest concern is that herpes wasn't tested, since a lot of times they don't check for herpes unless you ask.
Anyways, those have been my major symptoms. Can I get anyone's input on this? I'm extremely stressed out as I'm only 19 years old. I haven't been able to sleep much the past two months and my school grades dropped quite a bit because of this. Thanks a lot!
