Genital HSV1?

I've been HSV1+ (oral) for 20 years.  Several months ago I had unprotected intercourse with a woman 3 times.  Within 2 days, maybe sooner, I felt irritated on the shaft of my penis and the irritation and redness have been almost constant for 6 months.  I've had 2 IgG tests at 3 weeks and 6 months, both were HSV1+ and HSV2 neg.  All other STD tests were negative.  4 dermatologists didn't think much of it but one thinks it could be a herpetic neuralgia causing the issue.  Never had an issue before the intercourse with this woman and issue happened immediately after and I'm not one for coincidences.  I've tried all types of creams and have been on valtrex for months with no improvement of symptoms.  I've also had urinary incontinence - leaking, which started one month after skin irritation began.  Any thoughts??

Hi
Does not sound like hsv at all. First off it was to soon for hsv to show up. Second hsv is not constant like what you describe. If she did have an hsv1 genital infevtion the odds of you getting it would be very slim. Hsv 1 has few outbreaks and sheds very little. The final peace to the puzzle.... it would be very rare to contract it genitaly if you have it orally.  You build a kind of immunity.
You put all this together and I bet the house against hsv being your issue. I would try a very mild non perfumed soap and wash your underwear with very little detergent and no fabric softener. The fact your agrivated for this length of time I would try this and maybe an anti fungal cream. Its not hsv

thank you for your thoughts.  Used Lotrimin for 2 weeks with no improvement.
Then it's probably not fungal. I hope you find the cause but I really do not think it's hsv. Did they do a swab or biopsy the area?
no swab or biopsy, I haven't really had the traditional outbreak.  The skin gets red and irritated and then calms down and then reoccurs.  can happen several times /day
