Healthy female and atrial fib

I am a 30 year old female who after giving birth to to my wonderful daughter started developing svt, a fib, and a flutter. I underwent an SVT ablation which was sucessful, but I then began having problems with a-fib. I had an A-fib ablation which appeared to be successful but I had recurrent a fib a few months after the treatment. My cardiologist placed me on lopressor and flecanide for a while I then began breaking through after attempting to decreases the lopressor. I followed back up with my cardiologist and I am awaiting the equipment installation for cryo ablation, which I am told has a higher success rate. How often does a 30 year old healthy female have such problems. I have also thrown PEs and have infarcted my right lung. I was not in a fib at the time of the PEs. I hae had a full work up by a hematologist and he feels it will be ok to d/c my coumadin after my a fib is solved. What are your thoughts on my case?

I don't follow some of your points about "PE"... but as no one has offered anything yet I'll give you the following thoughts.

I think/believe it is uncommon for a young person to have heart rhythm problems, but some do as you know yourself.  The good news is if you are healthy you have a good chance of being cured... ablation could get you completely off of medications, including coumadin.

It is my understanding that if one has occasional episodes of AFib and is young and otherwise healthy they my get sufficient clot protection from just taking an aspirin a day, no coumadin even with periods of AFib.

Wishing you a successful ablation.
