Problems with the right side of my body

I am a 40 years old female. I am diagnosed with PVC (Premature Ventricular Complex) which means irregular heart beats. My heart is health but the cause of the palpitations unknown. Could be some sort of electric circulation or blood circulation problem my Doctors say.

I used Metoprolol for almost two months for 25 mg a day but possibility to increase if the problem persists. I went up to 50 mg. But I didn't see any effect of the drug so I stopped it.

Recently my body developed some problems on my right side. My right ear is palpitating and I am hearing wind type noises, my right hand and my right leg has numbness and tingling. Very much bothersome. I have seen my neorologist she said that the problem is not norological. I have seen my cardiologist, he said that the problem is norological!! And I have seen an ENT Specialist he said that the problem could be something rare that maybe I might have a tumor in my blood vessels and suggested to have an MRA.

My question is this: Is there anyone else had the similar problems and what was the diognasis and the treatment? Do you think that all those could be a side effect of Metoprolol?

Another option that I am thinking is a thin blood problem. I was taking vitamin E regularly and dringkin a lot of green tea and herbal teas. Eating a lot of garlic and onion. I made a search on internet and if your blood is too thin then the body may develop ear problems etc...

Thanks in advance. Sun

Hi Amy, how are you? I am so sorry that I am replying extremely late!!! I guess I forgot all about this web site and my question and never checked if I received any answers. Thanks for answering though. All of my problems disappeared. Except that I still have PVC but it is not bothering that much. I have had one ablation in 2009, it was half successful. All other problems are gone by now. I have had 64 slice CT scan. Everything else is normal. I guess I was in panic attack those days cause I was treated by that as well. How are you doing? Hope you are doing well. Cheers.

If you're having PVC's then you should defiantly keep taking your medication and DO NOT use herbal remedies of any kind.

I was 33 when I had a massive coronary (about 20 months ago) and I just got out of the hospital with an elevated troponin level which was unexplained other than stress but I have been throwing PVC's for a long time.
I too am on Lopressor among 11 other pills and there's really nothing to do for it if those things aren't helping and you're not throwing them 6 in a row.

Have you had an angioplasty? Have they checked your arteries for any blockage? How about your cholesterol?
