Q for Teak, Worried

I had unprotected sex just over a year ago with an aquaintance. She said she gets tested for her job (works in the hospital) frequently. I can't remember any ARS symptons but lately have been getting possible symptoms. I have had tingling in my left hand for 2-3 months and thought it was just a pinched nerve... Have had shoulder problems from overuse (Tennis) so didn't think anything of it. About two weeks ago I developed a rash on my upper chest shoulder area on both sides, hasn't completely gone away but subsiding. The rash is now moving to my back. These are bumps and not *****, some red. The tingling with the rash has me a bit worried. I did not know this gal well so I'm only taking her word for the info on her testing.

Do rashes show up this much later after possible infection?

This forum has been comforting, good information and answers.

Guess I was curious about the rash and tingling.

The problem is that rashes and tingling can be caused by so many other things other than HIV infection.  And they don't start this late post exposure.

Go and get yourself a test.
Expect only a negative result.
