Nothing to report about, you used a condom he did not expose you to HIV by the use of a condom.
Those are not symptoms of HIV, they happen at 2-4 weeks and come on at once not one and then another. And the fever is very high, 101+
But there's still a 4 week window. Its only been 2 weeks. I'm not completely in the clear. Also maybe I didn't best describe the symptoms. When I say days later. I mean post high-risk exposure. 6 days from day of exposure, 8 days from day of exposure, and so forth. Thanks for the optimism. Somebody has to be. :-(
I understood and that is not a time frame when symptoms start, it would be at least 2 weeks after exposure.
I have one more addition to symptoms. I have this weird pain in my penis. Clearly that's not a good sign. Its doesn't hurt when I pee... but after I have a little sensation. *Sigh*. Makes me less optimistic.
Now I'm concerned he had an STD.... now I'm definitely doomed. :-(
STD questions post in the STD forum
It seems its closed. But overall it does add a higher risk, don't it? :-(
No it is not closed, I answer questions there all the time.
That was the Ask a doctor section. Never mind. lol
To add to the situation he confessed he IS HIV positive! And knew about it. But his "viral load" is low...its over. So I'm debating on reporting him. Idk yet. smh :-(
Nothing to report as you used a condom. If he has knowingly tried to infect you then yes that is a crime in some states but a condom was used so no crime.
And if the viral load is low then betters the chance of no infection.
Well time will tell with my test results. I'll keep you posed.
But all in all thanks for listening.
