Long term symptoms

After the initial infection and hiv goes "dormant", what are some common symtoms when it starts back up? I understand this can be after 10 years or more.

Worried, I thnk means that it is really irrelevant the time course and symptoms of HIV infection.
It is no use speculating if one is infected or not due to to the presence of abscence of symptoms. The only way to know for sure is to test after the appropriate window period.

I just hope you have not gone 10 years after a risk without checking your status, that would be morally reprehensible. One owes it to oneself and ones' partner/s to determine ones' status.

Oh and I meant to say it's not dormant at all. You would still be highly infectious.

After intial infection and a primary HIV infection illness (or not as some are asymptomatic) one could be either symptomatic or asymptomatic.
Lymphadenopathy is most common I undesrtand.
Don't bank on the lack of symptoms to mean lack of infection there is only one way to know and that's to get tested after the appropriate window period AT LEAST 3 months
