Hi, for many months I have been having pains in my left foot/arch area. I assumed it was heel spurs at first, then plantar fascitiis. Painful for many weeks. I was treating it alternating cold and hot and trying to be off as much as possible. I was also wearing an ankle support that also offered compression in the arch. I am just a stay at home mom, so I don't have a job with prolonged standing or walking. Though I did for 10 years, but it has been 7 years since I gave up work for the Kids. Granted, I am overweight, about 220. NOW--Most recently I have something different going on. It is now on BOTH heels! Usually it's a dull/moderate throbbing when sitting. However, when I get up to walk, it hurts so bad! I walk funny, my son asked if I was limping, he thought I was joking around! Absolutely at it's worse either in the middle of the night, after partially sleeping, or first thing in the morning. It hurts so bad to even get to the bathroom. I dread it. I walk so crazy, like a very old woman. I am just 32! Please, if any of you guys know what this is and some ways I may relieve the pain, that would be great. I do not have any type of insurance and medical attention would be very expensive for me. I'd like to avoid it if it is at all possible. But given that it is as bad as it is, I feel it may be necessary. But if you know what this exactly is and any way to relieve this, that would be great. Thanks for your help.
P.s. I am also barefoot 98% of the day, don't know if it is relative.
Also sometimes I feel like when I am walking something is pulling inside my heel. Almost like I have a piece of sticky gum on it, feels strange. Am I pulling a ligament? Please help! This is the 2nd time I have posted this on this website and have gotten no replies. Thanks!
