Sounds suspicious of Ulcerative Colitis.  I would recommend having a Colonoscopy done ASAP.

The other thing that came to mind was Crohn's.

In addition to what Mkh9 said, I think you should also talk to your dr about gallbladder problems and hemorrhoids. I've had gallstones and problems for almost a couple years now and yellowish, horrible smelling, floating (high fat), loose stools are symptomatic of gallbladder problems. If my gallbladder is ticked off I also experience bloating, nausea, and mild to severe pain in right under the rib that can make it difficult to breath. I also have hemorrhoids which leads to bright red blood when they burst.

It sounds like malabsorption syndrome. It can be cause by a variety of thiings. One is not enough of the correct digestive enzymes. Lower stomach pain always alerts me to an appedicitis though. Can the pain be coming from the intestines perhaps?  They should give you a diet or enzymes to add to the diet to help with the proper absorption of food. The doctor will have to make the diagnosis of where it is coming from. It is possible the pancreas isn't making enough lipase and/or amylase which break down the fat. I hope you hear back from the doctor soon. Let me know how it turns out.
