Hello oh Well. You are absolutely right and I am absolutely wrong. I was speaking from clinical experience and had not looked up the most recent literature (another reason I enjoy this forum is that I learn from patient posting's also). No I did not misunderstand him. I looked up Pars Planitis and MS they are related just google the 2 together and scroll down abit it does come up and tell me what you think after read it all.

Pars Planitis is NOT related to multiple sclerosis. They are two entirely different problems. If you have pars planitis you are NOT more likely to get MS. If you misunderstood and your have optic neuritis then it's a different story. The most common cause of optic neuritis is MS.
You need to clarify this with your ophthalmologist.
