One eye is larger after detact retina surgery, 20 years later

One eye is larger after detach retina surgery, 22 years later...

1986, I was very near sighted ( - 12 then). Left eye had detached retina, and surgery to save my sight. For the pass 10 years, My right eye is noticeable larger or left eye is shrunk, I'm not sure which. I am 42 years old now. My left eye vision is +0.25 ( a bit far sighted) My right eye -15 very near sighted.
Anybody has this problem or know why?

Do you mean intraocular contact lens? (CLI)

I never answer insurance questions.

Scarl.... (spelling?) Buckle placed. Yes, I have Dr. but they don't really know why either. I had CT. scanned, found nothing. I just don't like having picture taken.
I was told may be I should have clear len implant on my right eye that (CLI) to correct -14 on my right eye. Most likely I will not. I am just wondering since I don't really have clear answer.
If I have elective procedure of CLI, and complication happen ie. infection or detach retina. Is my medical insurance will cover RD Surgery if that happen?
I don't think they will.  What do you know for sure? I have great health insurance. My CLI Dr's camp said yes, will cover, my insurance comp not sure, they need codes, or will see when that happen ? yah... right.

If you have had RD surgery and are that nearsighted in your right eye and have one eye bigger than another you should be under the care of one or more ophthalmologists that see you at least yearly. You should be asking them these questions.  RD surgery generally makes the eye more myopic unless a lensectomy is done.
