No laser and steroids are the only RX I know of. There is an article in this months Archives of Ophthalmology that show that CSR is due to inflamation of the choroid which causes fluid to seep up into the eye and detach the inner layers.

As I said in my original posting (except with typo fixed) "Recently they tried PDT in my left eye with a short temporal improvement. ... Do you have any [other] suggestions?"
They used PDT. Damage is Nasal? to macular and all specialists (3) considered the risk (hot laser) associated with this treatment too great. In Australia PDT for CSR is being trialled. I was considered an appropriate patient for the trial
PDT is not used unless there is neovascularization. Argon laser (hot laser) is used to cauterize the leaking hole in the retinal pigment epithelium.

I had used the search feature. So where the condition does not resolve (which is my case), Ithere is no other treatment you know of other than PDT when the damage is central?
