Mild cracks and itchy butt

Hi, my butt is very itchy at times, mostly during nights or early morning.
The area of itching is the start of the butt from spinal cord and the point of cleavage.
I tried to find out the source of it and noticed that there is actually a crack(burst) and that's itching the most.
Yes, the crack is mild and very itchy.
Also the skin where my butt cleavage starts has such a dry skin like ripen pine apple.

At times, the end of the butt cleavage also itches.
Not sure what causes that.

Please please tell me what should I do?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to a pilonidal dimple. The majority of pilonidal dimples are harmless, congenital anomalies that consist of a small depression or pit. There may be increased hairiness around the area.
The pilonidal dimple may also be a deep tract, rather than a shallow depression, leading to a sinus that may contain hair. These can become infected and drain.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing
