Fordyce spots

Really quick question. Can Fordyce spots become inflamed and become itchy and maybe scab over?

Hi , I also thought I had fordyce disease because of these little bumps, but found out today I have "dermal fibroplasia" on my scrotum. Wondering if you had any insight on what it is and if it can be treated ?

Hello,
Fordyce spots are a form of ectopic sebaceous gland, and are not known to be associated with any disease or illness. They are painless, non itchy and do not scab over. If you are having these conditions, then herpes blisters and scabies need to be ruled out.
I sincerely hope it helps. Take care and regards.
