Chronic Candida a symptom of cancer?

Hello I have been struggling with some strange health problems for the past 13 months.  The worst of which is extreme scalp pain and major hair loss.  It was found via wood light exam I had heavy proliferation of abnormal yeast growth on my scalp and face. I was told this was highly abnormal finding.  I was put on diflucan for 2 months with no help.  After searching for causes of this abnomral yeast I found that certain cancers particularly blood cancers can weaken the immune system causing Candida.

Can you help me to understand this mechanism and how it works and would something like this start as the beginning symptom of a blood cancer?  I also suffer from fatigue and a host of other non specific health problems - but the scalp and facial stining has been by far the most horrific symptom as of yet.

I did have some night sweats but I think it was hormonal it has stopped. I also shed brows and lashes - not bald patches but shedding out.

According to the Italian Oncologist Dr Tullio Simoncini, it is the other way round. "Cancer is a Fungus" (his book). Candida is the cause of most cancer?

PS.  The fact that you might have Candida in no way means you might have cancer.

I was interested in your question. My husband has mesothelioma (a lung cancer related to asbestos exposure).  He has done well fighting the mesothelioma.  But ever since his open lung biopsy and failed lung removal and subsequent uninterrupted taking of pain killers, he has had trouble eating.  He can only take five swallows and then he has fullness, pain and stomach problems.  I feel that is something other or something in addition to the cancer and am looking for solutions.  When I read descriptions of Candida it seems to relate.
