Aplastic anemia questions

i have been diagnosed with aplastic anemia and i was just wondering if there was anyone else who could maybe help me out.. i was wondering what the blood cell count would be for someone who had a serious case as to a moderate case and what the doses of certain prescriptions would be. Just wanting to know exactly how serious mine is considering my family is my doctor so its a little hard to tell. anything would help!

I'm using Alternative Medicine Doctors, but most people are resistant to it because the change (treating the cause and not just the symptoms), takes longer.
If you are interested though, I could tell you more about my journey. :-)
As far as the seriousness, all dis-ease is quite serious (life-threatening), but there's hope if caught early enough.  Good luck.

hi, first let me say that I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis...and congrats for having a doctor in your family to treat you...

my daughter is recovering from severe aplastic anemia...she was recently treated with an alg treatment... she takes 200 mg of cyclosporine twice a day... as well as GCSF injections every other day (to stimulate her white cells)

as far as your cell count to know wether serious or not.... severe usually requires a transfusion.

platelets are usually transfused below 20,000...and red cells when hemogloben is at 7 or 8.
