I would tell my dr. before surgery
do you mean methadone or cyrstal meth? either way, Id be horrified to go under with that in the system. They tell you to not even smoke a cigarrette the same day as surgery so i cant imagine what other drugs might do with anesthesia..
You can die - better tell the anesthesiologist.
its dangerous yes, i had a friend do the same(crystal myth) she was fine but it has very dangerous
i had surgery once and had been smoking meth. everything went ok, except my blood pressure was up a lil but got it under control. and when i awoke i wasnt groggy for long.
From my personal experience. I use 1 gram of Up (Meth) per week. Im a milker not binger and I take 4 mg of Suboxone daily. Been doing this same roitine for 6 years straight and have had 2 surgeries with NO problems what so ever. I did stop my suboxone for 2 days prior and didnt use Up the mourning (yes, i sleep good every night) before the surgery. Since im on suboxone there is no point in administering opiate pain killers or prescribing them or me bothering to take them because I can not absorb opiods meaning after surgery the only help I get is ibuphrophren and thats all i needed anyway (it wasnt spinal surgery).
I highly recommend you inform the surgical team of all drugs ingested in the last 24 hours up to the surgery because not having that info means if something does go wrong because of it they want know that and will waste valuable time trying to figure out whats wrong and you die. But if they know whats up they can be prepared or even prevent something gping wrong because you didnt lie. Its your life and i compkeyely understand you Trust me. But this is a serious life & death choice to make. I guess think how disappointed your loves will feel knowing you passed because you didnt tell the surgical team the truth. Thats just dumb. Numbing the mental pain with meth is your choice like it is mine but I dont want to die because Im too ashamed to tell the people who are going to paralyze and breath for me while operating while in a temp coma on literal life support. Tell them.
I understand you,
